Sites Using Interesting DHTML

Note: This column was coded with an example of the "Open New Window" JavaScript. To see the effect, select any of the links in this column and click. A new browser window should open with the link's url displayed.
Well it may not be the coolest DHTML you've ever seen, but it is mine - all mine. Sweat, blood, the works. Check out my CSS Style Example page.

Note 1: I learned both the onMouseOver and the Open New Window scriplets from a book called: "HTML WEB MAGIC - Second Edition" by Raymond Pirouz. I got it from the local Border's Books. It's published by New Riders © 1998. It's a really easy book to read. The author provides simple, short but instructive examples of different effects and layouts for the novice Web author.
Note 2: Please also take a look at my coding for this page. I have incorporated the Style Tag in the Head section for formatting this layout. The absolute position property will not allow your boxes to overlap when the browser window is resized. Absolute positioning appears to anchor the boxes so that the window resizing cannot alter their position.
Note 3: The only JavaScript I cheated with is the one that puts in the date/time that this page was updated. You'll see this at the very top of the page. I only do this so that I can keep track of when I did what....
