Lesson 1-2: Deformations, Effects, and Filters
| Using the finished title banner graphic from page 1, I tested a sampling of PSP's special effects. Any settings used to achieve the effects displayed are listed. All the deformations and effects are available under the Image menu of PSP. | |
| 1. This shows the Vertical Perspective deformation at 26%. |  |
| 2. Here's an example of the Pentagon deformation. The Circle deformation looks alot like it, except it's round. Too much distortion to see the text. |  |
| 3. Here's an interesting deformation called Pinch. I used it at the 90% setting. |  |
| 4. This is the Punch deformation. This one is set at 60%. Pretty wild, huh? I renamed it the "Slinky". |  |
| 5. This shows the Skew deformation. I set the horizontal to 20 and the vertical to 0 for this example. It's not a bad effect for a title banner. |  |
